RLS Test as Role - different results - Desktop to Service

Hi

I have setup a pbix with a dynamic RLS over an employee hierachy. When I test the roles in the desktop I get the expected results, but, for one user, the desktop shows the restricted data as expected but testing the same user in the service shows no data.

Any ideas where the issue could be, or how I can debug this issue myself?

So, almost immediatly after posting this question, I found out that the user has a differenct email address confirguration to others in the company and although there is an alias setup, the service recognises the user, but the can't map the alias to the domain main email.

I'm off to change the data in the file.
