Microsoft has published a PowerBI Publisher Excel Add-in but the documentation is confusing.

The instructions say this:

But should say this:

Download the version of Power BI Publisheer for Excel that matches the architecture (X86 or x64) of your Office Installation.

@residentx, thanks for reporting it, and you're correct that there is a typo issue on that download page. It is reported to the corresponding team and I will post back once it got fixed.
