Hi
so I created a query and set of visuals in powerbi desktop. I published it and then setup a scheduled refresh using my personal gateway.
later I realised one of the queries had an incorrect filter on one of the tables.
I corrected that, and republished the report. Initially the data is correct, but once the scheduled (or manual) refresh occurs the data goes back to what it was before I corrected the filter.
Anyone have an ideas why that is happening? I even published it under a new name and it does the same thing?!
Hi @PhilJones82 ,
Hi @PhilJones82 ,
What data source and which connecting mode did you use before? Will the error also occur after you manually refresh on Power BI Desktop?
If it does, it may be that your original data has changed.
If not, please give me more details so that we can troubleshoot this problem.
Best Regards,
Yuna
The data source hasn't changed, only that I moved the original pbi file from my computer to SharePoint.
I have since removed the incremental refresh from the tables in the pbi on SharePoint and republished them.
The data now seems to be refreshing but I will check again today after the next scheduled refresh
