Hello
In the file Azure IP Ranges and Service Tags – Public Cloud https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=56519 we can only find a section for Power Query Online. It looks like a Dataset refresh using the new Snowflake connector uses different IPs. Is there any possibility to identify all public IPs sed by a Dataset refresh for Region north/west Europe?

Hi @klabir ,
Searching by "AzureCloud.northeurope", Line Number: 34087 - 35011,you will find all the IPs for Region north Europe.
Searching by "AzureCloud.westeurope", Line Number: 35883 - 36065,you will find all the IPs for Region west Europe.
Hi Kelly
thank you very much, i saw that. but we do not want to whitelist so many IPs. It should be only a few, like Power Query online , here are only 2 Ips to whitelist. any idea how to narrow down?

Hi @klabir ,
Here is a similar thread you can refer to :
My suggestion is to use gateway, which can limit outbound ports, and only needs 443 port, then the data source only needs to provide the whitelist of the gateway machine.
Here is the reference.

Hello Kelly
Thank you very much again for your answer. Unfortunately we want to exactly avoid the gateway, because it is slow. The new Snowflake Connector in Power BI does not need a Gateway anymore and this is what we want to leverage. But we can not allow such a big Number of IPs to be whitelisted.
