Published report loads to hidden page

This is a bug that pertains to reports published to the service with a hidden page as the first page.  When these reports are selected in the service, they load by default to the first page (which is supposed to be hidden).

Hi @andrewbrick,

If I understand your requirement correctly that you want to show the hide page when you publish the report in Power BI Service?

By my tests, it won't show the hide page when you publish to the Power BI Service.

If you want to show the hide page in Power BI Service, you should click Edit Reports, then you will see the hide pages.

In addition, what do you want to achieve?

Best Regards,

Cherry

This isn't a requirement, it's just a bug I noticed. It's easily overcome by not having the first page of the report be a hidden page.

Subsequent to the first bug, I noticed the report will sometimes initially load to other hidden pages. I can guarantee that i'm not saving or publishing the report from desktop while those pages are visible/active/selected.

Hi there

That will happen because which ever page you are on when you save and publish to the Power BI Service, is what it shows by default.

I would suggest opening your PBIX, going to the page where you want it to load from and make sure you save it with that state.
Then upload and going forward it will work as expected.

I tested that, and the behavior was the same.

Hi there. Make sure that there is a change on the page you want it to start from.
