Publish to web Analysis Services limitations

Hi

I am using a Live Connection datasource to connect to an on-premisis cube using an 'On-premisis data gateway'.

This is working well, but now I am unable to publish this to the web as an iFrame. (The 'Publish to Web' option is missing from the web client).

The documentations states that 'Publishing to web is currently not supported for':

• Reports using any Live Connection data source, including Analysis Services Tabular hosted on-premises, Analysis Services Multidimensional, and Azure Analysis Services.

Is there any viable solution to this? Or do i need to "recreate the cube" in Power BI?

Nope, I don't find any available solution to work through this limitation when you use publish to web feature.
In my opinion, I'd like to suggest you to use power bi embed to instead.
