Publish to Power BI Service not working if replacing current report

Good Morning,

There are a number of reports, which are already published to Power Bi service) that I make edits to in power BI desktop, and I upload these edits to the service. When I go to replace a published report, it freezes at the "Publishing to Power BI" diolague box. (I've blurred out the report name due to security reasons):

What is confusing is when I delete the dataset and report from the workspace in the service, I'm able updload the report from desktop without an issue. It seems to only happen when I need to replace the dataset

Anyone experiencing the same issue?

I am experiencing exactly the same issue and have arrived at exactly the same workaround. I am also looking to get this issue resolved. Seems to have just happened on the last update of the Power BI product.

I figured this issue arose from the update. I'm working with our 365 admin to issue a ticket with microsoft, hoping that microsoft will recognize this and will able to come up with a solution in the very near future
