Publish the dashboard into the workspace

Hi,

I have a report and a dataset which is in live connection. Later after doing some changes I have to change my dashboard to direct query mode. When once I want to publish it shows some error. I cannot see the made changes in the workspace reflected. Though I refresh my datase

t. But when I publish it as a new report by changing name I can be able to publish to workspace. But to the same existing report link it is showing an error.

Please advice what can be done.

Hi @Haripinnoju 

As far as I am aware if you change the data source, even if the PBIX file has got the same name it will be a new dataset (GUID) in the Power BI Service. I would suggest you rather create a new dataset and reports to the DirectQuery mode.
