Hi everyone! I need some help, I have two reports and one of them shares the data model.
The system allows me to publish the file containing the data model on the web; however the other one only I get the option to insert it on the web.
What`s the difference between publishing or inserting it? I can currently see both without problems but I do not understand what limitation there may be. I think that if I update the one containing the data model the other report will also be updated.
Thanks !
Can you explain with some image, I am not sure about what do you mean by inserting.
But if it is about embed code when publish to web, try check with this procedure:

Hi @V-pazhen-msft , @Greg_Deckler
I think the issue is that with insert option people has to have a pro license becasuse PBI ask for credentials; however with publish opyion is not necessary. I think that this is the difference.
So i now I will have to publish as mnay as data models I have due to shared data model is not allowed with publish reports ( option 2)
That's interesting, not sure I have tried that before. Can you share screen shots of what you are seeing?
