Publish dashboard to website

Hi everyone!

I have a question about the following:

I would like to publish a PowerBI Dashboard of my Curriculum Vitae to my personal website.

I thought it would be as simple as get a pro Power BI license, publish my desktop version dashboard to the online workspace and then just get the weblink from the export to web function. But that doesn't work, and to fix that error I need to be the admin of the workspace. So for some reason I do not have the admin role, which is kinda strange imo since I am the only one using it.

Can somebody help me out? I hope it is as simple as just go to the paid pro version (still in trial modes atm) but I just want te be sure before I spend money on something that is useless for me.
Also, if you are familiar with another way to publish a desktop dashboard to a website please let me know!

You are right, there is no license needed for this.
In this case, I think the problem is that he still needs to do a IT Admin Takeover to allow himself to publish to web.

Hi @Luckylucdr ,

it's not possible to publish to web a dashboard like you do with a report. I don't think it's necessary. The flexibilidad when building reports is so good that you could build almost the same you have at the dashboard but on the report. Big visuals, grey background, bigger page, etc.

Maybe you canvote here: Publish dashboard to web

Hi @Luckylucdr

Why dont you use the Publish to Web where you do not need any specific Power BI license.
