Public URL refreshed after 1 Hour

Hello All,

I am using Direct Query to get data from SQL Server Azure.  The Services is refreshed in minutes as soon as data is entered in Sql Server, but the public URL is refreshed after 1 Hour, which defeats the purpose of using Direct Query and Azure.

Is there a way we can refresh public URL in less than 15 minutes or less? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanking you,

Vithi Mittal.

HI @Anonymous,

>> but the public URL is refreshed after 1 Hour, which defeats the purpose of using Direct Query and Azure.

Do you mean usbe 'publish to web feature' to embed report and refresh? If this is a case, current publish to web reports has refresh delay, please refer to below link to know more about these:

Publish to web from Power BI

Data refresh

Data refreshes are automatically reflected in your embedded report or visual. It can take approximately 1 hour for refreshed data to be visible from embed codes. You can disable automatic refresh by selecting do not refresh on the schedule for the dataset used by the report.

If you means scheduled refresh, current the maximum number of scheduled refresh is 8 per day, you can setting trigger datetime to accurate control its refresh interval .

Configuring scheduled refresh

The Power BI service targets initiating the refresh of your data within 15 minutes of your scheduled refresh time.
