Am I correct in finding that you cannot view reports (in a Teams tab for example) without having a Pro license?
I have seen some very old discussion talking about workarounds by publishing to My Workspace, then sharing it to a personal account, or some other hoops to jump through, but this isn't realistic for me.
In my organization, we have 2 'report writers', currently publishing to a local SSRS with email delivery to 60+ users. While I really like the tools of Power BI, I can't justify 60+ pro accounts just to provide a new method of delivering ERP data from our SQL server.

Greg:
Thanks for a wonderful explanation. While it is not what I wanted to hear, but it tells me what I need to know.
Microsoft:
Nice program, but it surely isn't right for (this) small business, imo. I mean, we already pay for so many apps and features, O365, SQL Server, Server licenses, CALs, Dynamics user licenses, etc etc etc... And you want another 5+k per year just so we can 'share' reports to users that are licensed to consume this data on several other levels already?
I get charging for authoring, but seriously, $120/year so someone can view the report in Teams? Give me a break.
No thanks.
Same sentiment here, can you say Tableau? LOL
