Hello together
we are currently thinking about moving our BI landscape from (Oracle and SAP) to the cloud. One candidate is Power BI.
The first POC showed that we wouldn't get very far with our data volumes with both Premium and Pro, and in the end only SSAS would come into question.
Furthermore, we plan to be able to offer external customers reports via a portal in the near future.
But now we don't quite understand what we actually need.
Data volumes:
Approx. 30,000,000 rows with approx. 60 columns daily on the fact
Approx. 20,000,000 lines in the corresponding dimension
Min Requirement:
Date to Date
Week to Date
Month to Date
Year to Date
and dynamic deltas.
Customers:
Internal approx. 140
External approx. 100
Do we need
A:
or is all this already too big and too much?
Total 12187
And can we handel internal and external customer in one SSAS (different structure of the tables)?
Chers
Ben
