Hi everyone,
I dont really know where to put this topic, so ill just ask here.
We have been approached by a customer who would like to use powerpivot and powerbi, however, they use Microsoft Office 2016 home and business, and are having some problems with Powerpivot. From my research, powerpivot does not work with this version of office (source in link below). Can anybody verify this?

Hi Rasmus,
Looks your link is out-dated info, so lets just try it and see for yourself.
1. Check if free add-ins are set correctly
File menu, options, excel, add-ins, select Com Add-Ins, Go
Check if Power Pivot, Power View and Power Maps are installed and enabled
If not, dowload them and try again.
2. Start Excel
a. check if you see Menu Data and option to create query's.
b. check if you see menu Power Pivot
If so: go-go-go
If not: Buy a stand-alone version of Excel 2016 or (better) start with Office365
