PowerBI SSAS Cube Structure

Hello,

When uploading data/reports to PowerBI cloud it builds an SSAS cube.  You can even use the SSAS cube in Excel if you choose to locally on your pc.  I wanted to know is there way via api or other ways to download SSAS cube to customize deploy on local sql server ?

Hi there

Currently this is not possible, it actually takes the PBIX file and takes apart the different pieces to get them into the right place.

You could script out the PBIX by connecting to it via SSMS and then scripting it out. But there are other things that would still need to be done to get it working on a local SSAS Server.
