PowerBI Pro user sharing to different tenant PowerBI Pro user

Hello,

I am on PowerBI Pro.

Has anyone tried to share a PowerBI to another tenant PowerBI Pro user?

Will that be possible?

Kind Regards,

Junko

@Anonymous I have multiple tenants in my org with Power BI in both. The answer to your question is likely "no" based on your expectations. You can't share reports and have those users consume them within their tenant workspace the same as users that exist in your originating tenant. So, assume their interactions with those reports are going to look like they are external to the org.

You can provision and grant guest access to those accounts and share a workspace, but that likely will just confuse end users even further because they will see reports in that workspace but won't be able to publish or use them.

as suggsted by @Seth_C_Bauer , please add the other user as a guest user in AAD and try to share the report.
