PowerBI Dashboard in Sharepoint Online not updating changes

Greetings,

I have an issue where I have a PowerBI dashboard in Sharepoint. if I make a change in the desktop version, I click on Publish and it goes up into the web service. I see the changes done there, but when I check the dashboard embedded in Sharepoint Online the changes are not refelected!

It is quite frustrating because this implies that I have to delete embeded code everytime I make a change...

Does anyone know the reason or how to solve this issue?

HI @Daemetius,

I can't repro your issue, modify and re-publish to replace report will affect embed reports.
Can you please provide more detail info about your scenario?

BTW, if you mean remove orange report and publish modified one, it can't reflected to embedded reports.(power bi will generate new report id for this report)

I tried it and it's not working. 

What do you mean by orange report? 

My issue is that the embedded code isn't working. This is the "Publish to Web" code. The weird thing is that it works well with my other reports except this one.

I make a change in the adsboard, I publish it and I see the change within PowerBI web service. However if I go to a Sharepoint Online site with the report embedded, it doesn't reflect the updated version of the dahsboard. It's like the code isn't refreshing

If you mean report which embed by 'publish to web feature', updates won't sync to embedded contents.

I'd like to suggest you use 'embed in sharepoint online feature' to instead.

BTW, 'orange' is a typo of 'original'.

Interesting, then how come when I publish a change in another of my reports, the change takes place in the web service and the embedded reports in Sharepoint Online using publish to web? That embedded report is able to update itself after I hit publish in PowerBI desktop...

I also confirm and test with my colleagues, contents who embed with 'embed in sharepoint online' feature can follow update of original report.
