Power bi online reports refresh a lot slower compared to desktop refresh

Hi all, I have set scheduled refresh for published online reports to every 30 minutes and datasets are linked through sharepoint.

It takes 15-20 minutes for online reports to be refreshed, but when I refresh manually on desktop app it refreshes within 2 minutes. 

Shouldnt the online refresh be faster than desktop refresh?
