Power Bi scorecard sharing

Hi Guys,

Microsoft released cool new features in the November update on the scorecard, which is a Power BI Premium advantage.

My question, is t possible to share this scorecard (which is created by an Premium user) with a non premium user?

Kind Regards

Rik

Hi @miltenburger ,

You can share with people inside or outside your organization.

When you share a scorecard, the people you share it with can view and interact with it. They can also edit it if they have an Admin, Member, or Contributor role in the workspace. Users that have access to the scorecard see the same data you see in the scorecard. The coworkers you share with can also share with their coworkers, if you allow them to. The people outside your organization can view and interact with the scorecard, but can't share it.

When you share scorecards, whether inside or outside your organization, your recipients need Power BI Premium Per User (PPU) licenses, unless the content is in a Power BI Premium capacity.

in our organisation (premium based) only Pro users get Contribute access. As # of Pro licenses are limited we can not yet embrace Power BI Goals yet as we want to for company wide OKR tracking for all squads.

How do others cope with this ?

Hi @miltenburger

No, Scorecards are a Premium Per User or Premium Capacity feature. They can't be shared with "Pro" licence only users. You can create the share and send the invitation, but the recipient gets a message specifying they need a PPU licence (and offering a 60 day trial) when they click on the Scorecard link.

Hope this helps.

Stuart

Actually, the documentation looks like it was just updated to be Pro user based instead of Premium

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/service-goals-introduction#license-requirem...

Yes, can someone confirm that Scorecards now also are working with Pro-licences instead of Premium (per user)? I couldn't find a blog-item about this change. Thanks in advance!
