Power Bi report on msit.powerbi.com stopped working trying to access data from ssas tabular model

I have a Power BI report that fetches data form SSAS tabular model via Live connection.

I can see the data in Power BI desktop.

I see an error on msit.powerbi.com.

Cannot load model
Couldn't load the model schema associated with this report. Make sure you have a connection to the server, and try again.
Please try again later or contact support. If you contact support, please provide these details.

When i try reports that fetch data from tabular model using import, the reports work on power bi desktop and power bi service. reports with data source as SQL and kusto work fine too.

I am firstly going to assume that you work for Microsoft?

If you are using an On-Premise SSAS Tabular, you will have to install and configure the Gateway to connect via LiveConnection to the SSAS Tabular Server.

Yes I work for microsoft.

The server is hosted in azure. Also this used to work for the last 3 years until saturday.

Can you confirm that the Gateway Server is up and running and that the data sources say Good to Go?

Also is it being hosted on VM in Azure?
