In our organization we have a capacity from PowerBI embedded. We give viewer rights to some users who don’t have Pro License, in order for them to be able to see the workspaces that we want. Indeed, they are able to see the reports in these workspaces with viewer rights(without a PRO license). However, they are not able to see the dashboards(with streaming data) in the workspace. They are only able to see the reports, although both the reports and the dashboards are created by the same streaming dataset. Although they can see the reports, they can't see the live dashboards. Any help on this is most welcome.
@Anonymous I've tested this out recently. The ability for a Viewer role to see reports in a shared workspace using embedded should be considered a bug. Sharing reports internally requires a Pro license or a P1 premium capacity license. Anything that inadvertenly works should be considered a bug, and not a solution as it is likely MSFT will turn off this functionality at some point.
