Power BI service gateway refresh fails withouth error message, provides just activity and run Id

Hello,

primary report for one of our clients is having problems with gateway refresh, which has worked in the past. Connected gateway is green and works fine for other reports in the workspace. Also, after refresh failure we are not provided with a error message, just with request and acivity ID. Report refreshes fine in desktop, it just takes very long time to both refresh and publish.

We already tried chopping down the report to smaller pieces, but so far this did not help. What are our other options?

Hi @Stratodata ,

I think that the key here MIGHT be that it takes a long time.  Perhaps it is timing out on the server side.  I would suggest opening a ticket with Microsoft and having them help you with the audit logs and/or running it while they search the Service logs.
