Power BI service - dataflow

Hi Team,

I would like to understand how to consume data from dataflow directly in Power BI service without using Power BI desktop.  If we use Power BI desktop, it works in import mode and i need to move data in multiple places(Data lake to Power BI dataflow; Power BI Dataflow to Power Bi desktop).

Hi @devendrb,

By my research and tests, I'm afraid that we can only leverage the dataflows to build various datasets with Power BI Desktop currently.

If you have other idea, please submit your idea in Power BI ideas Forum and add comments there to improve Power BI and make this feature coming sooner.

Thanks Cherry. Just wanted to check whether we have direct query option available for dataflow from Power BI desktop? if not, do we have a roadmap for this feature? Without direct query option,  usage of dataflow seems to be very limited(we can use upto 10gb of data only because of power bi daaset limtation).

I'm afraid that there is no direct option for Dataflow in Power BI currently.

You could vote this idea and add your comments there to improve Power BI and make this feature coming sooner.

As I know, Total Storage of Dataflow capabilities on Power BI Premium is 100 TB/node. You may could try Power BI Premium.
