Power BI UTC

I have created a report for a users timesheet - It shows the time for Travel Start, Work Start, Work End and Travel End. On power BI desktop the times are correct I.e 06:00 Travel Start, 09:00 Work Start etc, In BI service the time are 1 hour behind, I've seen lots of sites discussing UTC but can't figure out how to apply so the times are correct when published.

Hi  @achester75 ,

The Today() function on the Power bi service returns today’s value according to the UTC() time zone, while the Today() function on the Power bi desktop shows the computer’s system time.

You can try to add a + time() function after your time measure to display the time in your local time zone to the power bi service.

For example:

I used now(), my local time displayed is: 2022.5.9 2:06:33 PM.

Using the function now()+TIME(8,0,0), in Power BI Desktop, 8 hours will be added from the time in our local time zone.

Desktop:

Publishing to Power BI Service will change the UTC time  to my local time zone with minus 8 hours :

So, as you mean, in Power BI Service, the time is 1 hour late.

Use the function +/-TIME(1,0,0)
