Power BI Service "New Look On" broke hyperlinks in text boxes

The new UI doesn't allow you to add/remove/change hyperlinks in text boxes any longer.  A pop-up box for text formatting used to pop up when selecting text, but this is missing now.

It seems like a restart of my computer did the trick.  Or it was fixed over the weekend  🙂

The "New UI" I was referring to is found by ticking this option shown below.

Which "new UI" do you mean? 

The format settings for text box is available in report edit view. Please click on Edit Report in Power BI service to enter edit view, then select the textbox to test again.
