Hi everyone,
I am pretty sure that until last week there was a search field on the "Start" page in Power BI Service available (top, right). It allowed to search for reports, apps and workspaces and was pretty convenient, if you have a significant large/complex PBI environment.
Does anyone know, why it is gone and/or if a fix or replacement is planned or somewhere available?
Regards,

Hi @dibaSFP ,
There is an Admin setting for Power BI "Use global search for Power BI" It may be that that has been turned off by your Power BI administrator. That would remove the search box.
Hope this helps

@dibaSFP
It is available right there, can you click on that location in case your background color of the bar is white.

Hi Fowmy,
interesting:
I have switched language, new and old design and other seettings. I checked as well the source code and it looks like there is code commented out (<!-- -->). Let's see, if this behaves differently the next few days.

Hi Burningsuit,
you nailed it! As the feature was definitely already active I guess MS has disabled it automatically to ask you for our permission to use the Azure Search Index service.
Side note: The search feature also returns results in deleted workspaces.
Thank you!
