Power BI Service Connecting to a shared folder

Hello experts,

I have a report that uses folder as a datasource. The folder is a directory in a linux machine and my gateway is installed on a mindows machine in the same network. The linux directory is shared on the network and mapped to a network drive (Z) on my windows machine where the gateway is installed. When I am refreshing the data through my power bi desktop it works fine but once the report is published to the service I am not able to refresh. It says data source not found.

your folder connection string should not use drive letters but a UNC address

\\fqdn\share

Can you try that?
