Hello,
I have a report which has two different list drop down value parameters based on separate queries. I want to be able to just select one or the other of the two and not be able to select both in order for the report to run, is this something which is possible for Power BI Report Builder to accomplish?
Hi @Anonymous
Do you select this option?
FYI: Report parameters in Power BI Report Builder - Power BI | Microsoft Docs

It would seem that unfortunately doesn't work even though it sounds like it should.
I'm also looking at trying to adjust the query to see about putting all the majors and minors in one drop down and then possibly writing a case statement, maybe?, as to which column should be used based on their selection from the drop down...but haven't gotten that section of the query figured out yet.
Hi @Anonymous
try "allow null value", does it help?

I have tried a combination of both "Allow blank value ("")" and "Allow null values" or them respectfully by themselves and still produce the same result. I had one of our vendors on and we spent 3 different WebEx sessions going over this before he said turn in a ticket to Microsoft, so that'll probably be my next step.
