Power BI Refresh Failed: Cross_Reference_No

Hey Everyone,

Since we just updated our Business Central to the latest version(cloud-based) over the weekend I keep getting Power BI refresh failures on my reports with BC saying(see picture), I have tried re-publishing, adding completely again to a different area, and I am having zero luck.  Any ideas?

Hi @thomas_coltrain ,

According to the error message, you might have some steps that reference the column 'Cross_Reference_No' which has been removed or renamed or any other operation when you modified the query. It could be a step where you renamed, re-ordered columns, changed data types, removed other columns, etc.

Directly, in Power Query, right click on your query then select Advanced editor. Here you can see the name of columns/object used for each step of your query, find the unfound column name and edit it.
