I am looking to invite an external user to view some of our reports in Power BI. From the documentation available here however it is not clear to me if this is going to fully work with external users: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-admin-azure-ad-b2b
On one hand it states under the heading "Who can you invite?" that it is possible to invite people using their personal email address. On the other hand at various other points it states that users need to sign-in with their organisation's credentials, especially also under the heading related to assigning a license. Therefore I would like to know that if I invite an external user who only has a personal email address if it will be possible to assign them a Power BI Pro license and if they will then be able to access the Power BI web browser experience including Power BI Apps shared with them? I already understand that mobile is out of the question as stated in the documentation.

Yes, it is possible to share your workspace content with external users with personal email. Once you invited external users as guest user to your organization, the users is able to experience the same functions like your organization members.
