Hi,
I cannot find clear documentation for the default timeout on a Premium Capacity. When publishing a new report to Power BI service that uses Import data and doesn't specify the 'Command timeout in minutes' in the query editor (left it empty), what would be the default timeout period for the query to fail in Power BI service?
Thanks!

Hi @nes382097 ,
The default timeout is 3 minutes. You could find it in this document:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-admin-premium-workloads#workload-settings
"Note that Power BI reports override this default with a much smaller timeout for each query to the capacity. The timeout for each query is typically about three minutes."
Depends on the connector... the Sql.Database has a default CommandTimeout of 10 minutes: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerquery-m/sql-database
You're not suddenly seeing an error like this, by chance, are you?
Error: An internal error occurred... RootActivityId = xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx.Param1 = Execution Timeout Expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding. Request ID: xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx.
