Power BI Premium through CSP - What happens when changing capacity?

I need help on this scenario since I cannot find any documentation.  Customer has subscribed Power BI Premium P1 through CSP since Oct 1.  On Oct 15, he decides to upgrade to P2.  Will the new subscription end date be Nov 15?  Will the charge for P1 between Oct 1 - Oct 15 be calculated on pro-rata basis?  Anybody has the experience?  Many thanks!

Hi @Neo333 ,

You can try to cancel your subscription from within the Microsoft 365 admin center. To cancel your Premium subscription, do the following.

  1. Browse to the Microsoft 365 admin center.
  2. Select Billing > Your products.
  3. Select your Power BI Premium product from the list.
  4. Under Subscription status, select Cancel subscription.
  5. The Cancel subscription page will indicate whether or not you are responsible for an early termination fee.
  6. Read through the information, and if you want to proceed, select Cancel subscription.

Please repurchase P2.

Best Regards
