Power BI Premium Date format showing as 1st of month need mmm-yy

In my transformed data my Date column is showing mmm-yy, same as formatted in excel file. This works for Chart X-axis. But when I create a table it uses Saturday, 1 January 2022, Tuesday 1 Febuary 2022. I can only transform it to a Month OR a Year. I've tried copying , splitting & merging columns but merged column can only format as Text, so sorts alphabetically. Please help!

Hi Neeko. Thanks for the response! Is this solution for Desktop? I'm in Power Bi Service - Premium per User on a Mac so don't have the same fields in Power Query Transform Data. My options are Date (as above) or Month or Year. Not Month & Year and no way to format that I can see.
