Power BI Paginated Report Builder Export After Data Refresh?

Hello,

Is it possible to export a .xlsx file from a paginated report, after the dataset, that the report is connected on, is refreshed?

Ah, I think you might be right @andreas789.

I think I confused it with When a dataflow refresh completes

But, you do have the Power BI REST API action called Datasets - Get Refresh Execution Details In Group, with that you could get the refresh status. But that requires either calling the API programmatically or with the HTTPs action in Power Automate (which is premium).

Hi @andreas789,

that is certainly possible, but you'll have to use for example Power Automate for that. You have an action called When a dataset refresh is finished and Export to file that you can use after each other to create your solution. You could also call the Power BI REST API (that's what Power Automate also does), but that will need more knowledge of the API and or PowerShell (or another custom app), depending on how you call the API.

Thanks, @nickyvv for that.

I searched in PowerAutomate but couldn't locate that trigger, only a trigger for successful dataflow refresh. Could you please share a link to that?
