Power BI P2 Premium + Power BI Reporting Service better than Cognos On-prem

Hi Folks,

              We have Power BI P2 preimum license, so I can use Power BI Reporting service for free. We also have Cognos on-prem tool Is it right to say that using Power BI reproting service , takes out the advantage Cognos has over email scheduling and exporting needs, as Power BI reproting service should be able to achieve this. Also, pixel perfect reproting is also possible with this and it saves money on licensing cost as Premium P2 includes the cost already.

Hi there

Yes Power BI Report Server does allow you to schedule the emailing of reports. And as far as I am aware the exporting of reports too. I know that for your standard SSRS reports this can be done on Power BI Report Server.

I would suggest testing it to make sure it has the same features as you expect from Cognos.
