Power BI Online Automatic Refresh connecting to Sharepoint and Python Scripts

Hello,

I have a report saved in Power BI Online that I am trying to create a scheduled automatic refresh for. The datasets the report is accessing are excel files saved in Sharepoint Online and Python Scripts connecting to external servers. My goal is to create an automatic Daily refresh and publish the report to SharePoint online so it can be shared with the rest of the business.

I am having trouble creating the auto refresh for these datasets, please can someone advise how i can achieve this.

HI @harryrhulme,

For SharePoint online files, you can refer to the following link to know how to find out the root path of online file and use excel connector to get data from this URL. (it can enable onedrive refresh on power bi service side)

AFAIK, current R script and python datasources only work with the personal gateway, you need to install a personal gateway to handle the refresh to that data sources.
