Power BI Group on Sharepoint About to expire

Hi there,

I've got frequently an email from Power BI about my workspaces, it says that I have to renew the Office 365 group.

As far as I know when we create a workspace in Power BI it also creates a sharepoint group linked with this workspace (same name, files share..etc...).

What is the impact if an user doesn't renew this group ? The message says the group will be deleted, but what about the workspace ? Is there any impact on that ?

HI @ricardocamargos,

It seems like office tenant can configure to auto delete inactive/unused groups, it is related to your tenant setting.

Please contact to your tenant admin to know more about this.

BTW, group not directly deleted, it will stay in a restore place for 30 days.

HI @ricardocamargos,

I think they will be removed if your group is real deleted.(over restore deadline)
