Hi Team,
In my organization, users are using Power BI App for dashboard and now on the top there is a notification of Trial Days left. What if their trial version expired? Do they continue using that dashboard on power bi services?
What will be the impact on that? I believe we don’t require every user to have pro license.
Pls guide us or we can make a call to explain more.

Hi @sharma025 ,
Only Power BI Pro users can publish or share content with other Pro users or consume content that's created by other Pro users, unless a Power BI Premium capacity hosts that content. As a result, when users lose their trial licenses, they will no longer be able to access this content.

Hi how did you solve this issue? I am having the same issue. If I, who create and publish report upgrage to Premium, will they be able to see reports again after their Pro trials expire?

@sharma025 If their free trial of Pro or PPU expires then they won't be able to view shared reports.
Hi @Greg_Deckler ,
This doesn't make sense. So, if they've had a TRIAL Pro license, there is NO WAY that they can then default back to a Free version of PowerBI?
If this is the case, this is an issue. Please explain further. I have a group of people that inadvertently signed up for a "60day Pro trial" and it has indeed expired and now any report that they even only had "Read only" permissions, they CANNOT even view that now.
@derenwinn The Free version of Power BI basically allows them to do stuff in their "My Workspace". If they were accessing a report published to any workspace other than "My Workspace" then the free version doesn't allow them to view it. They can view such things using a Pro license but once that is expired then they will no longer be able to view those reports using the Free license. Refer to this:
