I am trying to improve the efficacy of some of my Power BI alerts that trigger email alerts to teams in my organization.
I currently have an alert that fires an email whenever the count of an error is greater than 1 throughout the day. The dashboard tile acts as a running count of the error throughout the day, so I can give users the current sum in the email. However, if there is an error early in the day and not later in the day, it just keeps alerting users about the 1 problem that they have already addressed.
I have created a new tile that looks for instances of the error in the last 2 hours. This way the alert will only fire when a NEW error is found. However, I still want to access the orginal tile so I can get users the running total for the day.
When I use Microsoft Flow, I can only seem to find the Tile Value for the Tile triggering the alert. Does someone know how to get to another Tile's properties using the Technical Details of a tile? (Dashboard ID, User Object ID, etc)
Hi @Anonymous ,
By my test, there is not a way to get another tile’s property from a tile. For your situation, you can create a tile from the visual which has two goal values.
