Power BI Dataset(or few columns) into Power Apps

Hi there,

I want to access Power BI dataset(or few columns of it) into Power App.

Whenever I am trying to add Data Connection -> Select PowerBI (Preview) -> Type in my PowerBI credentials, then under Data PowerBI is visible but I cannot select it!

And there is also no PowerBIIntegration Object created.

Which steps am I doing wrong?

Also, I want to send email from Power app on certain criteria. Email must be sent automatically. Online available Tutorials are for sending email on button click.

Hi ashutoshbbodake,

Which dataset are you trying to connect to? Is the dataset in "My Workspace"? If it is, please create an "App Workspace" and publish dataset in App Workspace and try to connect again. If still can't see, could you post some screenshots to clarify more explicitly about your issue.

Jimmy Tao

Hi,

Can you please share any tutorial or blog link for iterating through Power App data table?

I want to iterate through each row of the data table check for values and update the value in the newly created column.

If iteration in the data table is not possible then Can I implement my requirement with the help of collections?

My requirement is iterating each row of Power BI data source and perform some action. But, I don't want to perform an action on the same row repeatedly.

I am able to access Power BI data in Power Apps.

Can you share how you solved this problem? I'm seeing the exact same as you described in the earlier post.

@ashutoshbbodake or @emenard_TM

I wanted to use Power BI dataset in Power Apps as well.

Can one of you help if you solved the original question?

Thanks,
Radhika

same issue for me if someone found how to fix it 🙂

Is it possible to access Power BI values in Power App(Can I compare Power BI column value in Power BI e.g. Tempreture )?

Can you please share links for tutorials for Power app programming?
