Hi everyone, we use Dynamcis 365. I created a few reports/dashboards and picked "Dynamics 365" as the data source. It then had me populate the API value from the Dynamics developer page and all is well. Everything works on my report and I published it to a Teams Workspace all my employees can access. I then also created a Dynamics 365 dashboard picking Power BI as the type and added this dashboard.
The problem is that it never refreshes and the data is always old. The only way I can get it to refresh is by opening the file in Power BI Desktop, hitting refresh, waiting, and then publishing it again which obviously is not ideal.
Is there a reason why the data is not live? Was I supposed to choose a different option as the database source so that it pulls from Dynamics 365 directly in real time?

for the data to update regularly in the service (so after you publish), you'll have to set up a refresh schedule on the dataset.
