Hi @rsriramsri3 ,

It seems like your DevOps pipeline misses some access rights to perform the operation. It says unauthorised in the log. Have you set up a Power BI service connection in Azure DevOps?

Here is a blog post on how to set it up:

Hi,
I'm getting the following error when I try to use the power bi action (upload file)

The current operating system is not capable of running this task. That typically means the task was written for Windows only. For example, written for Windows Desktop PowerShell.

Any idea about this issue?

Thanks for the information.

We change the Client's secret and certificate value and it works fine.

Hey thank you so much for the information. I found the issue. While setting up the service connection i updated the client secret key instead of client secret value. After updated the client secret value it is working fine. Now I'm able to deploy power BI using devops without any issues

Hi @rsriramsri3 ,

It's hard to tell what the error could be. Can you set system.debug to true and run the pipeline again? It might give us a little bit more to work with 🙂
