Point to different dataset - Report created on Powerbi service

I created a report directly on app.powerbi using an excel datasource (stored on a specific sharepoint/teams site)

We need to move this report to a different workspace, and use a different data source (that will be placed on a corresponding sharepoint site)

Is there a way to move the report, or point to a different datasource?

Or even simply copy paste the report?

I couldn't find any way or workaround to do this. And this might be a common use case where we create reports in a DEV like environment and then have them moved to a PROD like environment.

What is a good way to manage this?

thanks

Vetri

Not really aware of a way to do this in the Service. If you had started with Desktop, this would be trivial.

DAX is easy, CALCULATE makes DAX hard...

True, with a desktop this would have been easier.

Problem is, business users create their own reports directly on the service sometimes; and they create a lot of content before they realize they want to move it to a different place/dataset.

I want to know if there is some way, even if its a workaround, to achieve this.
