Pie Chart is showing like Donut Chart on Power BI Service

The Pie Chart is showing the same in Power BI Desktop but when publish the report to Power BI service, it is reflecting the visual as Donut Chart but in the Edit Pane it is still a Pie Chart. Can anybody help to resolve this issue?

Hi,

Would you like to post a download link of the pbix file with this issue without the sensitive data if it’s possible and we can help you to check if it’s an existing issue in the Power BI?

If it’s a true issue, I will submit this issue to the ICM.

Thank you very much!

I have just noticed this with one of mny reports as well. To solve it, I changed the Pie visual to a Donut. Changed the Visual->Slices->Spacing-> Inner radius to 0. I could then change the Visual back to the Pie chart, and it displayed like it should. Strange but it worked.

Hi,

According to my research, the pie chart in my pbix file can correctly appear both in the Power BI desktop and service:

In desktop:

In service:

I suggest you to update to the latest version of the Power BI desktop to publish the report again to the Power BI service to overwrite the original report and check if this problem can disappear.

Thank you very much!

For me also, in some reports the Pie charts are working fine but for some reports this weird change has happened recently. The reports were working fine earlier, even updating to Latest Version did not help.

@PBICommunity can anybody please help?
