Hi @rseufertNUBI,

my description does get saved. Can you explain a little bit more what steps you took and what happened?

Are you setting the description in the Query Editor?

@nickyvv
No, i mean power BI online! I don't have any trouble with the parameter description of the desktop version.

Can you let me know where exactly you are trying to do that? Is it in the dataflow Query editor?

[edit] It is working for me in dataflows.

Because in edit mode of a report you can't edit or add parameters.

Hi @nickyvv !

Thank you for the quick response.

I can't understand it!
I do the parameter description just as in your picture.
I even tryed, creating a new parameter and give a description from the start to it but every time i reopen my dataset, the description is gone..

-- I DO save the settings ;D

@rseufertNUBI,

With dataset you mean the PBIX-file, right?
I also tried closing my PBIX and re-opening it, but it still saved my description.
Are you using the latest version of Power BI Desktop? I suggest installing that.
If it still persists, then I suggest you create a support ticket on https://support.powerbi.com.
