Can I mix data from a PB dataset with data from other data sources in one report dataset?
Thanks
Hey @Markzolotoy ,
yes, that's possible. You can add multiple data sources in the report builder.
One data source can be Power Bi, one can be SQL Server, etc.
In the report you can then select which element should display the data from which source.
@selimovd Sounds good, but can I create a query that would combine data from a PB dataset and SQL for example?
You can use the Lookup or LookupSet functions. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/reporting-services/report-design/report-builder-functions-looku...
@bradsy Are you saying I can use LOOKUP function in PB dataset running against SQL data?
It is a function to join data from two different datasets, does not matter the data source. I am not sure it works in your case, but that is the purpose of it.
