Online PowerBi Report taking 40+ minutes to refresh - Desktop refreshes instantly, please help!

Hello All,

i have a problem with my published online PowerBi report that is causing a major issue for my firm. My online report is not refreshing quick enough this means on a monday morning, key stake holders are sending out emails enquiring about last weeks poor sales figures, when in actual fact the report is just not refreshing and showing true values.

My desktop PowerBi refreshes instanstly but online its taking 40+ minutes which is not only impacting reporting, its making stakeholders lose interest in PowerBi as a product.

I have 4 tables sourced from Microsoft Dynamics CRM that are powering these reports.

It is an interesting case. Could you share some details about the environment you use?

1. Do you use a capacity to speed up the refresh and make it stable? (Power BI Premium or Power BI Embedded) Which SKU (if applicable)?

2. How much is PBIX file size once refreshed and saved?
