One premium space, one dataset, and two reports from it / How can I restrict one report being viewed

Hello everyone,

I'm not quite sure how to proceed, so your help will be much appreciated.

The background: in one premium space (Space X) I have one dataset made together with a beautiful report (let's call them Dataset A and Report A).

The next day, I've created a new report, Report B, connecting to Dataset A. I've then published it in the same premium space.

I've published the app with Reports A and B.

Right now, I have 20 users in Space X who can view Reports A and B.

The problem: I would like only 3 out of the 20 users to be able to see Report A. Report B should continue to stay visible to everyone in Space X).

I thought about setting roles; however, Report B has those icons grayed out, because (I think) it's source is a PBI dataset. So I assume if I limit the roles of Report A, it will affect Report B.

Many thanks in advance,

Alice

@AliceW Share the reports directly rather than in the App. This allows you to keep the same workspace, but just manage which reports are seen by groups of people. Are there other reasons you are sharing via App that are requirements that you can't break?

Thanks Seth! I'll unpublish the reports from the app and do some tests with direct sharing.
