One Year Pro Trial to End this month

I'm a consultant and my client base is comprised primarily of small businesses.  I began using PowerBI based upon the positioning of "democratization of data" - making it easy to share data for free.  For my business, I was able to use the free option with 1G of data.  When Microsoft changed the model, they converted everyone to 10G but started charging for viewers.  We were given a 1-year "trial" which is expiring soon.  Is there any new news regarding the pricing model?   Any chance Microsoft is going to revisit this or are you still planning on charging viewers $9.99/month? I'd love to stay with PowerBI but this pricing model doesn't make sense for my clients.  I would be open to paying a slightly higher licensing fee if it came with a set number of licenses that enabled free sharing.  In absence of new info, I have to assume that viewers will be charged, so I started the hunt for new tools. To that end, I've started using Google Data Studio, which is a free visualization tool that allows sharing of reports and dashboards with anyone.  Data Studio is currently in beta, but I have found I was able to recreate a lot of simple reports that I created in PBI. It's not a silver bullet, but like Google sheets it will only get better in time.  Any other suggestions that folks have for free tools?  Or perhaps Microsoft a new pricing model that they haven't yet announced?

Hi there

I have not heard or read anything with regards to the licensing change. So unless I hear something else I would assume that it will mean that users will have to start paying the $9.99/month to use shared reports.
