Hi,
I can access two different Power BI services with two different accounts. I need to import data from a SQL Server db or a flat file hosted on my local machine. I've installed the on-premises data gateway to link to the first PBI service.
Now, for the second PBI service do I need to download and install another on-premises data gateway or can I use that one already installed? Thanks

You need one gateway per Power BI service account. During the installation of the gateway, you are required use the service account for the Power BI account.
In your case, separate gateways need to be installed.

Hi @Anonymous ,
If your two accounts belong to different organizations, then you need to install the gateway for the other account on another computer.
If your accounts belong to the same organization, then the two accounts can use the same gateway. You only need to add another account to the gateway's administrator and the corresponding data source users.
If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information or the expected result you expect. Let me know immediately, looking forward to your reply.
Best Regards,
Winniz
